This place is the best in Austin. We ordered the chicken biryani (medium), butter chicken, vegetable samosas, and butter naan. Everything was made to order, perfectly seasoned, hot (temperature-wise), and phenomenal. We kept raving about the sauces that came with the samosas and how good everything tasted. Our service was friendly and the guy taking our order kindly told us what his favorite dishes were. I’ll be back to try his recommendations next time for sure. HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I've been absolutely craving paneer and curry. This food truck delivered on both!! I got the Paneer Pasanda and Paneer Paratha and they were delicious. The picnic tables were well maintained and you're right across from the playground so it's perfect for the kiddos too.

The menu is extensive so I requested advice from the employees on what to order. I spoke to a very polite young man who helped me decide through a series of questions; what type of meat, and whether I wanted dishes that were more creamy, rice based, or vegetable based. I settled on a safe option and an adventurous option: the safe chicken korma, medium heat, a creamy stew of chicken in sauce made from cashews. This was so delicious and amazing. It came out piping hot and the right amount of spiciness. The meat was tender but not overcooked and the amount was good for the price. The adventurous option was goat biriyani. This was absolutely exactly what I was hoping for! I have been looking for a delicious goat biriyani for the last 10 years ever since I first tried it and loved it at a potluck. The Indian Flames goat biriyani did not disappoint! The meat was tender and flavorful. The connective tissue was well rendered. The seasonings were flavorful and very close to what I remembered, with plenty of umami, spice, and occasional sweetness. The garlic naan was delicious and we also received a savory yogurt dip. I have no idea what that was but it was also delicious. I live in Houston

We stumbled across the Indian flames On accident. The best accident ever! The service was impeccable, he guided us through the menu and helped us decide what to get and had great hospitality. The food? Even better!! Not pictured is the Samosa Chaat (Ate it Too quick)… There are no words to how good that was. I closed my eyes and shook my head in disbelief. I can’t wait to come back!

Wow! What an amazing experience at The Indian Flames food truck! There are about six food trucks in this food truck area, so you have your pick of different foods. However; we would definitely recommend that you try The Indian Flame truck. My husband tried a different food truck and I got chicken curry and the garlic Nann bread at The Indian Flame. I love Indian food, but I often have trouble finding Indian food that is not too spicy for me. I asked the waiter how spicy the curry was. He told me that I could have it whatever way I wanted- anywhere from "no spice" to "Indian hot spicy". I ordered it mild and it was absolutely delicious- very flavorful but not too spicy. My husband tried it and was sorry that he had ordered from a different food truck. Service was quick and friendly and helpful. We will be back! If you like Indian food, you should definitely try The Indian Flame food truck. You will be happy that you did.
